Let's Send Aloha to the Philippines
We need your help this month as we prepare three boxes to send to the Philippine churches we sponsor. Over the past few weeks we have made announcements from the Studio, now I want to laser focus our request to our supportive church family. There are several ways you can help this effort:
Prayer: This is the most important way you can provide support. Heartfelt spirit-led prayer is the key to us partnering with the Lord concerning His agenda. So with that, let’s all pray that His will be done in this effort!
Donation of Things: That’s right! We are blessed to be a blessing. I am encouraging you to go through your closets, pantry, and other places in your home to find items that would be a blessing to others. Please bring your items to the Studio (worship service site*) by August 31st, Saturday
Below is a short list of ideas:
• New or Like-New clothing (all ages/all Sizes)
• Tang, Kool-Aid, Crystal Lite, or instant coffee
• Dry and canned goods such as Spam, Mac & Cheese, ramen noodles (packages not the cups), etc.
• New or Like-New towels (hand, face, bath sizes)
• New slippers (any size)
• New toiletry Items (bar soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.)
• School supplies, coloring books, crayons
• Bibles, journals, books,
• Bandages, OTC medication such as pain-relievers, etc.
• Anything that the Lord puts on your heart (All in Freedom!)
Financial Support: I would imagine that many of us want to give a donation of goods but time and/or transportation is a huge challenge. You can still provide a meaningful donation by providing finances to help us fill the boxes. Your donation will be used strictly to support our mission effort. Whatever way you choose to support, it will be extremely beneficial. It allows us to be a blessing to those who are in need. Your part matters!!!
